About the Editor

Welcome back! Have you got my ebooks - The No Contact Rule and Mr Unavailable & The Fallback Girl? Also become a fan of Baggage Reclaim on Facebook, follow me onTwitter, and join the forum.

NMLHi, I’m NML, also known as Natalie and I write Baggage Reclaim to help women achieve higher self-esteem and better dating and relationship experiences. I started Baggage Reclaim in 2005 to share my many dubious personal experiences, insights, and advice to help women deal with the real problems that they face in a modern dating world.

I’m 30 years old and live in Surrey on the edge of London with ‘the boyf’ and ‘the bambino’, born in May 2007. In early 2008, I decided not to return to my advertising job and I now blog and work as a freelance sales and marketing consultant on a full-time basis from home.

I started blogging in June 2004 on my personal blog Tired of Men in a reaction to going on Yet Another Bad Date with the nicest guy ever, PC Plod. As my dating experiences and my health worsened, I went through a huge period of personal growth and during this time I started Baggage Reclaim and after discovering that I was a commitment-phobe that chased Mr Unavailable’s, I started the Mr Unavailable Guide.

I may have had dubious taste, but I absolutely love writing about the survival of the fittest out there in that crazy world of dating and relationships! I have had several of my posts featured in The London Lite (very embarrassing when you get phone-calls from clients and work colleagues), been in Marie Claire with The Boyf (he had nearly every ex girlfriend call him….), and I even had a half page feature about moi in the Daily Express (which pretty much outed me to everyone I have ever come into contact with). Baggage Reclaim was also nominated for Best UK Weblog in the 2007 Blog awards. I have recently published my first ebook Mr Unavailable & the Fallback Girl with more on the way.

I currently contribute on a regular basis to Dollymix and Ask Dan & Jennifer, plus I also write a baby products blog, Bambino Goodies.

Prior to blogging, I’ve worked in media for nearly ten years in various advertising roles and I now work as a freelance sales and marketing consultant in between blogging full time. To contact me, please email contact [a] baggagereclaim.co.uk or use the contact page.

I wondered what your thoughts were on people auctioning themselves on dates as is done on the web link I’ve sent you.

Kind regards,

Stefan
