And the short answer to his question is: yes, if you’re a billionaire and/or have an uncommonly high level of intestinal fortitude. Otherwise, really really bad idea. The reality of polygamy is nothing like the fantasy.

The problem is that it is the ladies that it works well for. The advantages range from sister-like friendship, shared duties like shopping, housework, and child care. If there is the slightest chance for a multiple partner family, the ladies will invite you. There is nothing the guy can do to suggest, request, or arrange such a setup. You have to wait for the ladies to bring it up, to invite you. Oh, by the way - don't hold your breath. The likelihood of the average guy encountering a lady interested in such a thing is .. really unlikely. If you want multiple partners, and you haven't been invited into such an arrangement - examine your character. Double check your honesty quotient, your honor and discipline ratings. The odds are pretty good that one of the lady's feels cheated or used or abused. Especially if you think any of them doesn't know about any the others - that is definitely a deceit (lie) on your part. Find a good woman, and be honest, honorable, and disciplined - care for her, nurture her and any children.
