This is fabulous. I can remember when I was struggling through my NC hell - There was this little voice saying "Get off your ass and live!" but I didnt know what to do with myself. I went out with the girls a couple times but just ended up feeling worse with a hangover (and the regret of a couple drunk dials). It's amazingly empowering when you finally get to a place where you're so involved with you that you forget to think about him.

"dont get addicted to the plastic" haha good one! As usual I heart u NML! (and myself, incredibly) As someone who has stayed away (for the most part ) from relationships for almost 5 years, I can attest to every single piece of get a life advice here.. It it because of conducting myself (for the most part hehe) these ways I was able to recognize my most recent dip the toe in the water experience with sadly another assclown (fear and self doubt are still bigees) and end it much much sooner rather than later because I realized my time with myself was infinitely more valueable than any subpar excuse for a wannabe relationship. (even tho the sex WAS awesome:(..
Hence the humor to me in "dont get addicted to the plastic ..*sigh* :)
Thanks for all you do lady!!

Your website as been a life saver. Your ten commandments are right on the money. I am reading them everyday and trying to stick to them. But, this one is so true, I remember saying to myself about 1 month ago, "I don't even know who I am anymore". So much of my adult life has been wrapped up in an "assclown". I lost what I enjoy, like, am interested in, etc. I am going to use this break up to re-discover me. I think I finally have had an ephinany moment. No more drama seeking!!! No more assclowns!!! I man will no longer define me!! Thank you!

This applys to men also.. I've watched men make the same mistakes of not getting a life. I have to agree exercise is a great therapy. It clears my mind and makes you feel sooo relaxed. I love those tips
