I got played by a pushey pulley guy too. He shouldn't have made out with me if he was 'so busy'. I cried for weeks but I never let him know :(

I came upon your psuhey-pulley article and must comment...

This is not exclusive to the gender. There are a great many pushey-pulley women as well.

Pick up a copy of "He's scared, she's scared" for a great deal more insight!

Take a look at borderline personality disorder and other personality disorders.

I have come to believe that while there may be "game players" out there, more likely, this is just the way these people are.

[...] After a strong talking to, (that’s what girlfriends are for!), I made her realize that he was playing games, doing the whole Pushey-Pulley thing trying to get her attention. He wanted her as she was before, at his beck and call, and because she refused he was a petulant child. [...]

ok, ladies, the pushy pulley man is a wimp and if you are so icnlined and can protect yourself from falling for this big time looser, there can be some satisfaction in reversing the game on him,but don't try it if you are vulnerable to jerks. I happen to enjoy turning the tables (but that is said to be a scorpio thing) and you need some good supportive girlfrineds that want to play the game by backing you up and coming up with ideas to expose them for what they are when they least expect it! Players hate exposure more than anything and with a little creative energy, you can expose the jerk and at the same time letting him know that there are a group of you out to show him for what he is.PPGs tend to be paranoid! It can be soooo much fun! After all, we make the choice to be a victim. Be sure to let him know AFTER he has been "punked"-some call it revenge, I call it JUSTICE! lighten up and have some fun for there is more than one way to "skin a cat!"
My girlfiends and I have actually run a few out of town by setting them up for a dose of their own medication. Take your time, plot the exposure and sit back and be thankful that the exposure of these kinds of men only benifits and empwoers you as well and warns other women for the truth about him will get around!!!!! enjoy the game for you are out to win and winning gives you the freedom and strength to recognize the player and protect yourself from all these types. good luck and have fun!!!!!

[...] In essence, a guy who is a classic example of a predator was outed in the blogworld. Since 2004 this haircut with a receding hairline has been preying on women in the blogosphere. He contacts women who comment on his site and/or who have their own blogs and flirts with them. Through his witty banter, he establishes a rapport with them, hooks them in, and then starts to get romantic. He will then proceed to play the pushey pulley game with them until either they get fed up with him and/or until he feels they have started to figure out he’s a pathological liar. At any given time he’s playing th game with multiple women, always telling them that they’re the only one he’s talking to, and convincing them that he really has feeling for them.
