I was really struck by this paragraph:
Guys who have a habit of going out with women full of drama tend to like these relationships because they think that there is something wrong with you, which as a result gives them the impression that they have something valuable to add to the relationship.

See, I believe also that a lot of these guys who are attracted to drama also have some insecurity issues, and many of the same issues, that you listed above.
They crave the attention, excitement. They hate the rollercoaster, but love the 'crack'...and just like us, it is unintentional for the most part. They are getting the same 'reward' as we are, if you can call it that, but we don't do this without some kind of pay off as you said.
Self fulfilling prophecy, manifest destiny, whatever you want to call it.

I think we definitely as a species over-romanticize drama. We confuse drama for passion. Passion is a positive force, drama is negative.

Hi NML - I'm on board with this big time. Today was my Day 1 and I have to admit - I am a drama seeker. Whether it's with a guy in whom I am interested, or some politics at work, I like to have "thrills" in my interactions.

Time to just focus on results, and positive interaction. Today I worked on that, and I have to say the results are much more constructive and healthy.

Here's to at least 29 more days!

I've been looking forward to the 30 Days of Drama posts since they were announced last week.

That post is ME. And it took me until last week to admit it - I'm a drama 'junkie'. Things have been much better now I can finally start admitting things to myself.

Great idea. Very timely for me and I am sure others with Spring in the air. For me because over the past week I got back together with MM. It all started with one text message. I am there because I truly love him, how I feel when I am with him. I am not in negative equity yet but I am sure it is coming. We have both talked about it, because we both know that at some point I wil want more, he won't want me to see anyone else, and we will be in the same place of feeling frustrated. It feels even worse when we aren't speaking.
