Agreed..our standards is who we are.
its what we love, what we let go off and why.
its who we were or who we have become or want to be in life,in love.
Its in the partners we chose ..
Our past standards often give insight to our future standards if our present choices doesnt dictate otherwise.
I am dealing with my husband in my eyes not having any stnadards, for himslef or the people he chose to love in his past ...
Im trying to go through to him..its not so much your past, but what the standards of your past says about you ...
Please offer your help....as his lack of standards has me one ink blob away from signing my life away from him in a divorce

About "only wears designer clothes". For me that might be a red flag. If the person has a favorite brand, that is one thing, it might be arrogance or shallow character, though, if the person wants to look 'above the rest'.

Sometimes clothes really do make the man. In my experience, many people that dress 'high fashion' care about high fashion, not about people or living. Many are so competitive they act more like predators than friends.

I guess it depends on who you are looking for. I would prefer someone building awareness, experience, and skill in relating to people that following fashion.

[...] NML writes on Baggage Reclaim that you need standards when dating. This seems pretty obvious. [...]
