Initiating Sex - Why men want women to initiate more

I’ve always wanted to be the girl that the men desired to be with. I wanted to do all the things that I overheard my male friends complaining women never did: gagging for it every minute, oral sex, anal sex, being with another girl. I used to sneak into the “sexuality” section in the book stores and read up on what men wanted.

I would pick up on the things the sexy women did in movies, the way they moved, the things they said, the seductive nature of their relationships with men. I based my entire view on women’s sexuality on these things. I would be the girl that did all the right things.

The opinion that’s out there is that men like when women initiate sex. But why? I peeked inside the minds of a few good men and came up with some insightful results.

Almost all the men I asked said the same thing, “I want to know she desires it as much as I do.” Well, gee that makes a ton of sense! Let’s hear more…

Men seem to feel as though they are not desirable. This theory going back to the idea that men’s bodies aren’t ‘pretty’ or ‘artistic’ like a women’s body. Men are also of the opinion that women are just having sex to please the man, and that they really aren’t there for the fun of it but just taking a bit of a ride. When a women initiates sex, her man knows she wants it and is into it as much as he is.

Men also enjoy being told that they look sexy and that this sexiness turns their woman on. One gent told me that he would love for his lady to whisper a tease in his ear in a public setting and giving him something to think about until they arrive home. He said, “You think maybe I’m going to be a little more attentive that night?” After hearing that, I think the answer is a ‘yes’, for sure!

So ladies, men want us to initiate sex because they want to know we’re into it, that we fancy them, and that they do indeed turn us on. Wow, isn’t this the same reason we want them to say, “You look brilliant tonight.” And the same reason we enjoy that surprise boutique of flowers? I’m sure that if we took a step back and looked at how sexy our man really is, we might just realise how much we truly do desire him.
