I dated a Mummy’s boy, whose mother used to call him up to five times a day. He would constantly be checking his phone, his idea of a date was to invite me out with his parents, and it was a house rule that all doors in the house were left open (including his bedroom).

Other than this he was a great person, but in the end I was smothered to death by his Mum interrupting every meal, film, date and holiday to tell him about something she’d seen on the telly, or tell him off because he hadn’t called (she’d ring and ring until she got through).

I tried to negotiate, but in the end his mother was apparently being ‘reasonable’.

I’m married to a momma’s boy. She’s said ugly things about me in front of my face and behind my back. She persuaded him to have liaisons behind my back. And he wonders why I treat her like the crap ball she is. God help us.

guess what, when I lovingly bit my husband, he actually told me that I behave like his mother!! cost she bites him too!!

and in his eyes, both his mother and wife are equal and thus require equal amount of attention !!

and he claims he has 2 homes, our place and his mother’s !!

This is an excellent explanation of mother haters. I dated a 53 year old one for 4 weeks, the control issues and “always having to be on top-sexually”, became scary. He attempted to mold me into his idea of a perfect step-mother for his 3 kids within days of meeting me! Jealous, possessive, paranoid etc. I feel lucky to have gotten out, but now he is calling….ugh.
