Just over two and a half years ago I stumbled across the realisation that not only did I love Mr Unavailable’s (emotionally unavailable men) but that I was a commitment-phobe that was sabotaging all of my relationships, unbeknowst to me. I started sharing my insights here and at The Mr Unavailable Guide, and I am still astounded by the number of women that are just like me.

NML,I bought your book last week, and just couldnt stop reading it. IT WAS GREAT!! Half the time i was sitting there saying “Oh my God thats me, and thats him!!!”. It was everything that I am going through and everything I am.
I think that somewhere deep down inside we know that this IS what our relationship is and who we are, its just hard to believe that WE could have fallen into such a disasterous pattern and choice in life. I think that so many of us want so bad to believe that our EUM’s will change and that we will finally be worth it to them to “straighten up” and do the right thing, although it just never seems to happen.
the book has opened my eyes to alot of things, prob things that I already knew, but its the comfort of hearing it and reading it from someone elses perspective that has made me realize….ITS REAL, and not only is it real but, i am not alone.
i am still with (if you can even call it that) my EUM, he has totally put me last over the past few weeks and I feel very hurt and angry. Not only have I read your book but it has sunken in a little bit, although I am still maybe not ready, and i am still afraid to cut contact and let him go. i still am hoping that after he gets back from a week in daytona with the boys that he will somehow miraculously change and come around to his sences. I am getting very tired of living this vicious cycle, and am getting very resentful towards him. I have explained my story on the “how to spot EUM” page…..i would love any advice that you could give me. I am greatful for this sight and for the books that you have and are going to put out and cant wait to ready the next 2. Ah Danielle, you’ve brought a very big smile to my face! You are on a path now. I would do the exercises and start preparing yourself for cutting contact. I am going to give a date for Book two on Monday… Remember he is not going to change, which means that if you want more, you’ll have to. But if you’re getting a bit stronger each day, that strength will gather steam. Keep remembering who he really is as opposed to who you’d like him to be. Thanks for your kind words! NML x
NML, your book is fantastic, I have read it 3-4 times, did the exercises TWICE, wasn’t honest with myself the first time - how bad is that?
One thing I don’t fully understand, is the Status Quo part, not totally sure what that means to him and do they always have to have a fallback girl or do
they just move on to the next woman to repeat their game? What if you cut contact and never hear from him again, does this mean that his EUM mind told him,
she “figured” out my game or I can do better than her, I better run?
My EUM is 51 years old and I just can’t believe that woman are all over him. I found his posts on the FREE websites ONLY, I guess he is running out of women at the bars and I hope he goes thru a very long dryspell!!!
I hope your book part II is available soon and I can’t wait.
