Off On Maternity ‘Leave’ & Commenting Policy Reminder

by Natalie (NML) on April 6, 2009

As many regular readers will be aware, I am due to have my second baby any day now. In fact, I will definitely have had it within the next 7 days. I have been on a reduced schedule for the past few weeks to give myself time to rest and to also get on top of finishing How to Lose An Assclown in 90 Days which is almost done now :-)

As a result of me being on a reduced schedule, it is important to note the following:

Posts are pre-scheduled ahead for the next couple of weeks or so.

There is a 4-5 week wait time for free advice which is limited anyway.

The priority has to be readers who pay for my consultation and coaching service which will continue pretty much as normal bar the week or so when I have the baby.

As you can appreciate, as I am trying to get some rest and relax, I will not be able to respond directly to comments over the next couple of weeks. If you have a specific question or an issue with what someone has written, please email contact AT baggagereclaim DOT co DOT uk. Do note that comments are being checked by an admin support and they have guidelines as to what is and isn’t appropriate!

I will be fully enforcing the commenting policy which has seen some improvement in how people use the facility and interact with each other, but there are still issues. I am not going to take the drastic step of turning off comments or putting all comments into moderation, however the system is set up to hold comments that contain certain words plus if you don’t abide by the terms of use for the commenting facility which is stated clearly just above the comments box, your comments will be removed and/or subsequent comments will go into moderation.

Please remember that whilst you may feel that you are further along in your healing or that you know more than someone else, people arrive at this site for many different reasons and reach their epiphanies and go through their changes in different stages. No reader should feel intimidated or as one person aptly described it, feel that they’re being targeted by ‘virtual ambulance chasers’!

Enjoy your weeks, stay positive and focused on you, and remember that you are in the driving seat of how much pain or happiness you have, which is more than can be said for my forthcoming labour pains…

Take care, Natalie (NML) x

Blessings on you, your family, and the Next Bambino (or is it, Bambino, Part Deux? No, no, surely not.)
