USB Pole Dancer

This is definitely one of those instances when you don’t know whether to laugh or be offended. You don’t need to get tacky mugs and pens where the picture of the woman disrobes anymore because now a guy (I can only assume it’s the species with a penis that plays with this thing…) can plug 8 inches of pole dancing fun into his PC and watch the little dancer shuffle around the pole to his MP3’s.
I’ve never been a porn fan because the few times I have attempted to watch films, not only have I been bored, but I’ve found myself critiquing and I have to say that it’s no different with this little dancer. I have seen a few pole dancers and they pull far more moves than this spin around a pole repetitively dolly. Check her out on youtube. Nonetheless, this toy has caused plenty of offense and found itself being removed from Marks and Spencers stores when they were inundated with complaints. It was supposed to be a bit of Christmas fun but clearly missed the humour mark. There is such a thing as ‘knowing your audience’ - I’m pretty sure the core demographic of Marks and Spencers is not young men that like tacky toys to display on their desks. More like older guys that get up to their dodgy antics in secret…
Is it offensive? Not to me. I would describe it as stupid and tacky, but some people like that… Not everybody goes to lapdance clubs, and likewise the toy isn’t for everyone. I think that there are bigger things to complain about…
